How to say die in Korean

죽다 - A verb
죽음 - A noun

Nobody would want to die, but this is the obvious end of our human life. So! this is the word you will have to use someday. Let's learn how to use it appropriately.

I will demonstrate a few ways of usage of this word.

죽음이란 말은 듣고싶지않다 - I don't want to hear the word of the death.

그사람은 교통 사고로 죽었어 - He died because of the car accident.

제 동생은 곧 암으로 죽을거에요.. - He will die shortly due to cancer

죽고싶다 - I wanna die

그 일은 죽을만큼 힘들어 - It's hard to death

However, it is not always good to use that word when it comes to older people and strangers. You have to use more former world which is 사망하다 ( passed away)

저희 할머니는 작년에 사망하셨어요 - Our grandmother passed away last year.

그 환자분 께서 고혈압으로 그렇게 사망 하실줄은 몰랐어요 - I did not know that the patient passed away like that due to high blood pressure
